Funding Sources

The proposed new Beckwourth Peak Fire Protection District would be funded via three main funding mechanisms:

• New Special Tax - the new special tax would replace existing assessments for local Fire Protection Districts (FPDs) currently collected on property tax bills

• Current Property Taxes

• Donations and Grants
